        1. Climatic and Environmental Conditions

        • Hot and humid weather: The Amazon has a tropical climate, with high temperatures and constant humidity. Rainfall is frequent, so it's important to be prepared for sudden, heavy rains.
        • Insects and fauna: The jungle is home to a large number of insects, such as mosquitoes, that can transmit diseases. It's vital to use repellent and dress appropriately. In addition, some creatures such as snakes and spiders are part of the ecosystem, so caution should be exercised when walking and exploring.

        2. Personal Safety and Precautions

        • Basic Survival: Although you'll be accompanied by professional guides, having basic knowledge about how to act in the jungle is useful. This includes recognizing poisonous plants, how to orient yourself and what to do in an emergency.
        • Avoid contact with wild animals: Although wildlife is fascinating, it's essential to keep a safe distance from animals and not attempt to touch or feed them.
        • Respect for nature and local cultures: The Amazon region is inhabited by diverse indigenous communities with their own customs and beliefs. It's important to be respectful of their traditions and not interfere with their ways of life.

        3. Health and Wellness

        • Vaccines and Health Precautions: It is essential to consult a doctor before traveling to ensure you have the necessary vaccines, such as yellow fever, and to receive recommendations for preventive medications against tropical diseases, such as malaria.
        • Hydration: Given the high humidity and temperatures, it's crucial to stay well hydrated. Carrying a reusable water bottle is highly recommended.
        • Medication: If you have pre-existing health conditions, make sure you bring enough medications and that you tell your guide about your health condition.

        4. Responsible Behavior

        • Do not leave garbage: The Amazon is a fragile ecosystem, and it is essential to leave the place as it was found. Bring bags to collect your garbage and not pollute the environment.
        • Protection of the environment: Respect local rules on flora and fauna, such as not cutting plants or damaging animal habitats.

        5. Living with the Indigenous Community

        • Cultural interaction: Many of the places you'll visit are inhabited by indigenous communities. It is important to be respectful of their traditions, to ask for permission before taking photographs and to learn about their worldview and their ancient practices.
        • Language: Although in tourist areas you can find staff who speak Spanish, some indigenous communities can speak their native languages. Learning some basic phrases in Spanish and showing interest in their culture will help you have a richer experience.

        6. Physical Preparation

        • Walks and physical activities: The trip includes jungle hikes and other physical activities that can be challenging due to uneven terrain, heat and humidity. It is advisable to be in good physical shape to enjoy activities without difficulties.

        7. Adaptation to the Environment

        • Adapting to life in the jungle: In some areas, sleeping in hammocks or camping in the jungle is part of the experience. Life in the Amazon is different from urban life, so it's important to be open-minded and be prepared for rusticity and simplicity in some accommodations.
        • Jungle noise: The jungle is full of sounds, from insects to birds and nocturnal animals. It's normal and part of the experience, so it's good to be prepared for these noises if you're not used to it.

        8. Technology and Communication

        • Limited connectivity: In many parts of the Amazon, the mobile phone and internet signal is limited or no. This can be an excellent opportunity to disconnect and fully enjoy nature.
        • Chargers and batteries: Bring a portable charger, as electricity won't always be available, especially in more remote areas.

        9. River and Land Transportation

        • Boat trips: River transport is common in the region. Although it's a unique experience, it's important to follow the instructions in the water safety guides.
        • Mobility in the jungle: The distances between points of interest in the Amazon can be long, and some of the activities require travel in vehicles and boats. It is advisable to be prepared for longer travel times and rustic transport conditions.
