ElAmazon Experience Planis a unique adventure designed for those who seek to immerse themselves in the magic of the rainforest. During the 5 days of this experience, participants will have the opportunity to explore the biodiversity of the Amazon, interact with ancient indigenous communities and enjoy the incomparable beauty of nature in its purest state.

Throughout this experience, travelers will be guided by local experts on excursions that include jungle hikes, navigations along the Amazon rivers and visits to indigenous communities. Here, visitors will learn about ancient traditions, natural medicine, the legends that inhabit the jungle and the daily life of these peoples. There will be opportunities to participate in traditional activities such as fishing in the river and creating handicrafts, all while living with nature and the elements.

Amazonian fauna and flora will be the protagonists, with sightings of exotic birds, monkeys, pink dolphins and other emblematic species of the region. Travelers will also have the opportunity to get up close and personal with medicinal plants and their ancient use. In addition, they will be able to experience local ceremonies and rituals of connection with nature, celebrating the four essential elements: water, air, earth and fire.

Throughout the journey, contact with the environment will be constant, from the sounds of the jungle to the panoramic views of the rivers and the lush vegetation. The experience seeks not only to be an adventure, but also a deep immersion in the worldview and cultural richness of the Amazon, all while experiencing the natural balance of this unique ecosystem in the world.

What's included?
    • Transportation by speedboats: It includes the transfer between various key points in the region, such as Lotus Flower Nature Reserve(Colombia), Marasha Nature Reserve(Peru), Mocagua Community, Puerto Nariño and Leticia.
    • Full feed: The package covers meals from Dinner on the first day Until the Breakfast for the last day, allowing travelers to enjoy traditional Amazonian flavors.
    • Hydration: Water is provided at all outings and activities to ensure participants' hydration.
    • Accomodation: A night in tree huts, equipped with beds and mosquito nets, for an immersive experience in the jungle.
      1 night at the Lotus Flower Reserve, in a cabin with beds and private bathroom.
      1 night in the Marasha Nature Reserve, in a cabin with a bed.
      1 night in a hotel in Puerto Nariño (Colombia), either the Hotel Waira Selva or the Eware Amazon Refuge, subject to availability, with room, beds and private bathroom.
    • Specialized professional guide: An expert jungle guide will be available 24 hours a day to accompany travelers, providing information about biodiversity and local culture.
    • Vaquéanos experts: Local professionals who provide their knowledge about the jungle and help during activities.
    • Transfer in-out: Transfers to and from arrival and departure points (ports and airports).
    • Entrance tax to Puerto Nariño: This tax is included in the package.
    • Activities and attractions: All activities and visits specified in the program are covered.
    • Health care insurance: The package includes health insurance COLASSISTANCE, for the safety and well-being of travelers.
    • Necessary equipment: Floating vest for water activities.
      Rubber boots and waterproof clothing for hikes and excursions in the jungle.
    • Private and personalized service: An exclusive service is guaranteed, adapted to the needs of each group, providing special attention throughout the trip.
    Exclusions
      • Air tickets: The costs of flights to the starting point of the tour, whether Leticia (Colombia) or any other city, are not covered.
      • Tourism tax: An additional charge of $45,000 COP per person, which must be paid upon arrival at Leticia airport, is not included in the package.
      • Personal shopping: Personal expenses, such as the purchase of souvenirs, personal items, or other products, are not covered by the plan.
      • Lunch not specified: If not specified in the itinerary, lunches that are not part of the scheduled meals must be covered by the traveler.
      Please note
        • Documentation:
        1. Colombian citizens: citizenship card or identity card. If you are a minor, parental authorization is required, especially if you are traveling with only one of them.
        2. Foreigners resident in Colombia: foreign identity card or passport (verify validity).
        3. Vaccines: international certificate of vaccination against yellow fever (at least 10 days before the trip) and tetanus (mandatory).
        4. Medical assistance: carry an EPS card or prepaid medicine. The plan includes a health care card COLASSISTANCE.
        • Baggage:
        1. Small backpack for the tours and morral grande easy to handle as luggage.
        2. Clothes: comfortable, light, fresh, light-colored (avoid black or dark clothes). Wear enough t-shirts, long-sleeved shirts, swimwear, caps, sunglasses, comfortable footwear (tennis) and socks.
        3. Additional equipment: canteen, raincoats, wetland boots, flashlight (headlamp or manual) with extra batteries.
        4. Personal items: repellent, sunscreen, personal hygiene items.
        • Food and health: If you have Dietary preferences(vegetarian, vegan, etc.), inform your agency in advance.
          If you are allergic to any food or animal, notify your guide before the tour. It carries medication if you take any medications under a doctor's prescription.
        • Photograph: Carry photographic cameras with enough batteries and a airtight bag to protect equipment from moisture. Consider including moisture-wicking pills.
        • Recommendations during the tour:
        1. Listen carefully the guide's instructions for each activity.
        2. Report any discomfort: If you experience any symptoms or ailments, report them to your guide before starting the tour.
        3. Respect nature: Do not throw non-biodegradable garbage into the jungle or river bodies. All non-biodegradable material (glass, plastic, cans, batteries) must be returned at the end of the tour.
        4. Avoid collecting biological material, such as animals or plants. It is not recommended to buy hunting products (furs, feathers, etc.).
        5. Don't break away from the group: During the tours, stay with your group and always follow the guide.
        6. Avoid alcohol during jungle and river tours.
        7. Always wear the floating vest on boats.
        • Cultural and legal respect: Respect traditions of the indigenous communities visited. Avoid illegal traffic of fauna, flora or cultural products, as established by Law 17 of 1981, Law 63 of 1986 and Law 299 of 1996. These laws protect fauna, flora and cultural heritage.
