Accompanied by an expert ornithology guide, we will follow strategic trails designed to maximize observation opportunities. You'll have the opportunity to identify and photograph a variety of species, from small hummingbirds to migratory birds that find refuge in this region. All this, surrounded by breathtaking natural landscapes that make this tour an unforgettable experience.

What's included?
    • Transportation to and from your accommodation in Cali:
The tour includes transportation from your meeting point or accommodation in Cali to the birdwatching site at the Vuelta de Occidente, and returning to the same place at the end of the tour. The transport will be in a comfortable vehicle suitable for the tour, so you won't have to worry about how to get to the destination.
    • Professional guide specialized in bird watching:
Throughout the tour, you will be accompanied by an expert birdwatching guide. This guide will not only learn about the bird species you can observe in the area, but it will also provide you with detailed information about the habitats, behaviors and characteristics of each species. In addition, the guide will help you identify the birds during the tour and make the most of the experience.
    • Binoculars and informational material on local species:
The tour includes the use of binoculars so you can observe the birds up close without interrupting their habitat. In addition, you will be provided with informational material (such as brochures or guides) about local bird species, allowing you to learn more about the fauna that inhabits the area while you observe them. This material is very useful for identifying birds by name and learning more about them.
    • Refreshment during the tour:
To keep you comfortable and energized during the tour, you will be offered a snack that usually includes light snacks such as fruit, cookies, juices or water. This short break is ideal for regaining strength while you continue to explore the natural environment.
    • Travel insurance:
The tour includes basic travel insurance, which covers possible unforeseen events during the tour, such as minor accidents or emergencies. This gives you peace of mind, knowing that you're covered for the entire experience.
    Exclusions
      • Additional meals:
Although a light snack is included during the tour, main meals (lunch or dinner) are not covered. If you want to eat something else during the tour, you'll need to bring it yourself or buy it somewhere along the route.
      • Gratuities:
Tips for the guide or staff accompanying you during the tour are not included. If you think the service was excellent, you can tip the guide as a sign of appreciation for their knowledge and dedication.
      • Personal equipment:
Although the tour includes the use of binoculars and informational material about local species, if you prefer to use your own equipment (such as personal binoculars or a professional camera to take photos of the birds), these are not included and you must bring them yourself.
      • Additional insurance:
Basic travel insurance covers minor incidents during the tour, but it doesn't cover serious medical emergencies or situations outside the itinerary. If you need additional travel insurance (for example, for last-minute cancellations or specialized medical care), you'll need to manage it separately.
      • Personal expenses:
Any personal expenses outside the tour (such as purchases at local stores or additional drinks) are not included and will be borne by the participant.
      • Off-the-itinerary transportation:
